It is with great regret that we announce the temporary suspension of RdmFile for an indefinite period. It is possible that the platform will come back online within the next few months — nothing is final at this stage, and we sincerely hope to see you again.
This decision is the result of several factors that accumulated until they became completely unmanageable. The main reason is the sheer overwhelming volume of abuse reports our platform has been facing lately. Thousands of flagged files every single week, wave after wave of malicious uploads, non-stop bypass attempts — the situation became impossible to handle under normal operating conditions.
Yet our moderation team gave everything they had. Every single report was handled in under 24 hours. We were proud of that standard — few platforms of this size can claim the same level of responsiveness. But even with that level of dedication and efficiency, the incoming flood of abuse far exceeded our human capacity. Processing thousands of abuse cases day after day, night after night, gradually wore our team down — and the added legal and law enforcement pressure was the final straw.
Maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all our users has always been our absolute top priority. We refused to let a minority of bad actors turn RdmFile into something it was never meant to be. But protecting that integrity comes at a cost — and today, that cost exceeds what our team can sustain.
To our regular users, to everyone who used RdmFile honestly and daily: we are sorry. You are in no way responsible for this situation. You were the reason we kept fighting every single day.
This is not goodbye. This is see you soon, hopefully. The community that kept this project alive deserves better than a silent shutdown — and if we return, it will be with stronger protections, a more resilient infrastructure, and the same passion that drove us from day one.
